Reservation Confirmation
Your reservation is considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and the main services included in the package have been successfully secured. Final confirmation is subject to the availability of Machu Picchu entrance tickets, train schedules, hotel accommodation, transportation, and other required services.
Passenger Information
All passenger information must be provided exactly as shown on the passport or official identification document. Incorrect names, passport numbers, nationalities, or other passenger details may result in additional charges or restrictions when issuing Machu Picchu or train tickets.
Payment Policy
A 25% deposit of the total package price is required to begin the reservation process. The remaining 75% balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the tour begins. Reservations made within 15 days of departure may require full payment at the time of booking.
Machu Picchu Entrance Ticket
The package includes an official Machu Picchu entrance ticket according to the date, entrance time, circuit, and route available and confirmed for your travel date. Because availability is limited, the preferred circuit cannot be guaranteed until the ticket has been successfully secured. If the preferred option is unavailable, our reservations team will inform you of the best available alternative.
Train Tickets and Schedules
Train tickets are subject to availability. The train company, departure station, arrival station, and schedule will be confirmed according to availability and the operational arrangements for your travel date. Train companies may occasionally modify schedules for operational reasons.
Hotel Accommodation
The package includes 2 nights of hotel accommodation in Cusco with breakfast. The final hotel is confirmed according to the selected category and availability. If the originally proposed hotel is unavailable, a similar property of the same category may be assigned.
Airport Transfers
The package includes:
- Day 1: Cusco Airport → hotel
- Day 3: Hotel → Cusco Airport
Passengers must provide their correct flight details in advance so transfers can be properly coordinated.
Flight Delays or Schedule Changes
If your flight is delayed, cancelled, or significantly modified, please inform Machu Picchu Team as soon as possible. Additional transfers, hotel nights, meals, or other services required because of airline changes are not included unless specifically arranged.
Changes Requested by the Passenger
Requests to change the travel date, passenger details, hotel category, train service, or other confirmed services are subject to availability and supplier conditions. Additional charges may apply if previously issued tickets or reservations cannot be modified without penalty.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Any applicable refund will depend on the amounts that can be recovered from hotels, train companies, official entrance tickets, transportation providers, and other suppliers. Services that have already been issued and are non-refundable or non-transferable will be deducted from any applicable refund.
Official Machu Picchu Tickets
Once issued, Machu Picchu entrance tickets are subject to the regulations established by the corresponding authorities. Some tickets may have strict rules regarding changes, cancellations, or refunds. Any non-recoverable amount will remain the responsibility of the traveler.
Optional Upgrades
Optional services such as Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, panoramic train upgrades, private guiding, additional hotel nights, or higher hotel categories are subject to availability and additional cost.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend purchasing appropriate coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, interruptions, lost luggage, and other unexpected situations.
Force Majeure and Operational Changes
Weather conditions, strikes, road closures, government restrictions, natural events, transportation interruptions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable operational control may require changes to the itinerary or schedule. When possible, Machu Picchu Team will assist in arranging reasonable alternatives. Any refund will depend on the amounts recoverable from the affected suppliers.
Personal Expenses
Meals not specifically included, additional drinks, souvenirs, tips, optional activities, upgrades, and other personal expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.
Acceptance of Terms
