HOW TO BOOK – CUSCO MACHU PICCHU HUMANTAY LAKE RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR
Booking your Cusco Machu Picchu Humantay Lake Rainbow Mountain Tour is simple and can be completed online. Click the BOOK NOW button, select your preferred departure date, choose the corresponding room occupancy, and complete the required passenger information. Please enter all passenger details exactly as they appear on the passport or valid identification document. This information is required to arrange the Machu Picchu entrance ticket, train tickets, hotel reservation, and the other services included in the package.

To confirm the reservation, an initial payment of 25% of the total package price is required. The remaining 75% balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start of the tour. If the reservation is made within 15 days of departure, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation. Payments can be made in US Dollars through the available online payment methods, including PayPal and Visa credit or debit cards.
Once the required payment is received, our reservations team will verify and secure the main services included in your package, including the hotel in Cusco, Machu Picchu entrance ticket, train schedules, Humantay Lake Tour, Rainbow Mountain Tour, transportation, and guided services. Because Machu Picchu tickets and train schedules are limited, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially during high-demand travel periods.

Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed once the required initial payment has been received and the main services included in the package have been successfully secured. Final confirmation is subject to availability of Machu Picchu entrance tickets, trains, hotels, and other required services.
Passenger Information
All passenger information must be provided exactly as shown on the passport or official identification document. Machu Picchu and train reservations are issued using personal passenger information. Any error in the name, passport number, nationality, or other required details may result in additional costs or restrictions imposed by the corresponding supplier.
Payment Policy
A 25% deposit of the total package price is required to begin the reservation process. The remaining 75% balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the tour begins. Reservations made within 15 days of departure may require full payment at the time of booking.
Machu Picchu Ticket Availability
Machu Picchu entrance tickets are limited and are issued according to a specific date, entrance time, circuit, and route. The requested circuit cannot be guaranteed until the official ticket has been successfully secured. If the preferred option is unavailable, our reservations team will inform you of the best available alternative before final confirmation whenever possible.
Train Schedules
Train companies, departure stations, and schedules are subject to availability. The exact train times will be confirmed with your final travel information. Operational changes made by the train company may occasionally affect departure or arrival schedules.
Hotel Accommodation
The package includes 3 nights of hotel accommodation in Cusco with breakfast. Hotels are confirmed according to the category selected and availability. If the originally proposed hotel is unavailable, a similar property of the same category may be assigned.
Changes Requested by the Passenger
Any request to change the travel date, passenger information, hotel category, train service, Machu Picchu ticket, or another confirmed service is subject to availability and supplier conditions. Additional charges may apply when previously issued services cannot be modified without penalty.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Any refund will depend on the amount that can be recovered from hotels, train companies, official entrance tickets, transportation providers, and other suppliers. Services that have already been issued and are non-refundable or non-transferable will be deducted from any applicable refund.
Machu Picchu Tickets and Other Official Tickets
Once issued, official entrance tickets are subject to the rules established by the corresponding authorities. Some tickets may have strict modification, cancellation, or refund conditions. Any non-recoverable amount will remain the passenger’s responsibility.
Humantay Lake & Rainbow Mountain
Both excursions take place at high altitude and require walking on mountain terrain. Weather, road conditions, local restrictions, or safety considerations may require reasonable changes to schedules or routes. Travelers should evaluate their physical condition before participating and inform Machu Picchu Team in advance of any mobility limitations or relevant requirements that may affect participation.
Optional Horse Rental
Horse rental at Humantay Lake or Rainbow Mountain is an optional service provided locally and is not included in the standard package. Availability, price, and service conditions are controlled by local providers.
Weather and Force Majeure
Machu Picchu Team is not responsible for events beyond reasonable operational control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, transportation interruptions, or other force majeure situations. When possible, our team will assist in arranging reasonable alternatives. Any refund will depend on the amounts recoverable from the affected suppliers.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase appropriate insurance covering medical emergencies, high-altitude activities, cancellations, interruptions, delays, and lost or damaged luggage.
Personal Expenses
Meals, drinks, entrance fees, optional activities, horse rentals, tips, personal purchases, and any other services not specifically listed under What’s Included are the responsibility of the traveler.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing the reservation and making the required payment, the passenger confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, payment conditions, and applicable booking terms for the Cusco Machu Picchu Humantay Lake Rainbow Mountain Tour.
